Things to know before booking: Our studio is by appointment only and is located inside Salon Republic Pasadena, on the second floor of El Paseo. You'll find us near Equinox and Noor. Parking validated when parked in El Paseo parking structure. Arrival Policy: Please allow extra travel time and plan accordingly. We offer a 15-minute grace period from your scheduled appointment time to accommodate unexpected delays. If you are arriving more than 15 minutes late, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on our schedule, a reschedule may be required to ensure we stay on time for all clients. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you! ✨ Our Story: Strand of Sol was founded by two besties that share a passion for all things hair. It all started in hair school, where two aspiring stylists crossed paths and quickly formed a bond over shared passion, creativity, and countless hours perfecting their craft. Years later, with a vision in mind and a dream in their hearts, they came together once again—this time, to create something of their own. The result is a salon built on trust, style, and a shared love for making people feel their absolute best. CANCELLATION POLICY
We know that things happen! In the event you need to cancel please do so within 24hrs of your scheduled appointment. We charge a 40% cancellation fee to same day cancellations. 100% to No call No shows. In the event your service required a deposit it is non refundable and good for one reschedule.

Meet Madelynn, With roots in the fast-paced world of Beverly Hills, Madelynn began her career assisting some of the top stylists in the industry. It was there she built a strong foundation in luxury hair care, precision technique, and client-focused service. Now based in Pasadena she specializes in lived-in / customizable color, low-maintenance cuts, and bombshell blowouts. Hair that will grow out beautifully and fit effortlessly into your lifestyle. Her goal? Hair that looks as good on day 60 as it did on day one.
Samantha Rios
Samantha is a Pasadena-based hairstylist and one of the talented faces behind Strand of Sol. She specializes in layered haircuts, lived-in color, bouncy blowouts, and glossy finishes that keep hair looking shiny and fresh. Samantha loves creating dimensional, low-maintenance looks that grow out beautifully and feel effortless — but she’s also all about embracing bold, statement-making styles. Whether clients prefer soft and natural or loud and daring, her goal is to ensure everyone leaves the studio feeling confident and completely in love with their hair.
